Rowhill School

About Rowhill

Creating opportunities for a brighter future

Rowhill is a pupil referral unit based in North East Hampshire serving 13 mainstream secondary schools. Students are referred to our school if they are medically unwell or emotionally vulnerable, at risk of permanent exclusion or have been permanently excluded from their mainstream school. We specialise in providing tailored educational support to help our students overcome challenges which have meant they have struggled in their mainstream school.

Our Vision:

At Rowhill School, we strive to create a nurturing environment where ambition meets compassion, ensuring that every member of our school community feels included and valued.

We are committed to delivering a flexible curriculum that is designed to challenge and inspire our students. We believe in the power of education to transform lives.

Our aim is to prepare our students not only for academic success but also to develop the attributes, skills and knowledge they need to successfully navigate their future pathways in our modern world.

Every interaction is a learning experience and every learning experience must be an opportunity for progress

Our curriculum is designed to ensure that students are being taught from the moment that they interact with a member of our staff team. We not only focus on the knowledge that they need to obtain qualification but also the attributes and skills they need to be successfully navigate through their future. Our approach is based on relational and restorative practice and our school week is designed to provide opportunities for students and staff to build effective relationships alongside ensuring students have access to a range of ambitious learning opportunities.
